Writing


My works include short stories, descriptives, fiction and a bit of fantasy. I have uploaded only a few of my works here, in the section 'My Literary Works'. Also, I was selected in the Scholastic Quill Club Writers, where we were taught a few sessions on story writing and then we were asked to write an original story live. I wrote a story on the 'The Ball Point Mystery' (it's not a mystery, but actually a humorous story). Since it is copyrighted by Scholastic, I am not allowed to share the story here, but on adjoining image, you will find the page number bearing my story. Compering


Compering comes naturally to me. Maybe it's because of a little bit of control over the language that I have. Since around 6th Standard (Grade) till date (I am in the 12th grade now), for almost any event in the school, I would be invited to compere. I have refined myself over time. But the most memorable session where I have been asked to compere was the one during the installatioin of new President of the local chapter of the Rotary Club of Mumbai, in July 2022. It was attended by almost 600 people. Apart from routine events, I had to introduce the new President to the audience. I was happy to have received a lot of compliments for that session.

The Piano


Music is life. Not many things give more calm to the mind than music. My call is the piano. I had a professional training on keyboard. And with lessons on Youtube, I started playing it more and more and refining myself. At Mount Cook in New Zealand, I got the opportunity to play on the Grand Piano, where, I was playing some korean songs on the piano and unknowingly to me, there were some korean guests who were sitting just beyond and listening to it. They were happy to hear those tunes and complimented me for the same; they were probably not expecting an Indian to play some good Korean tunes! Below are a couple of videos. Swimming


Swimming is my favorite sport and hobby. Though I also play squash and badminton, there is something about swimming which makes it my loved sport. When learnt properly, the grace which swimming gives is ummatched. Especially when someone swims effortless, just gliding. Butterfly stroke is my favourite. I am just an amateur, not a professional. Photography


I got into photography because of sunsets. They are just so beautiful. Those orange rays, radiating through fluffy clouds. I have captured countless sunsets by now, but the best ones are seen by the beach or in the snow clad Himalayas. And naturally, with more and more photos, came the natural urge to compose images properly, take proper shots, angles. And so came photography to me. Because of smart phones, every one of us is a photographer. I am just a novice, but slowly, am learning more and more.

My Passion

Animal Rights


Compassion - a quality which most humans have disowned. Since my childhood, I have been able to feel the vibe of love which an animal or bird can give. Animals are more humane than humans are. Compassion for them should come naturally - they are vulnerable, they look up to us, they love us. The unconditional love, which an animal, even a stray or a wild one, can give, is incomparable. Animals, birds, fishes, all belong to the same God as you and me. But we see them only as food or entertainment. And for our reasons, we push them through torture, trauma, misery and immense cruelty; knowingly as well as unknowingly. This HAS to change. They too deserve a free life. We have forgotten what is compassion, care, love, for them. Luckily, though, things are changing. This one thing I shall keep on doing till the last day of my life - promoting animal rights, fighting for them. The biggest weapon I feel, is writing. And with the outreach of social media, we can spread the message far and wide, educate people about the same.

The idea of sharing all this on this page is only for you to know me better. A meeting of short time does is sometimes not enough to convey an idea. I am not perfect in my hobbies and likings, but I strive to climb the ladder, to improve myself. My Dad tells me, life is like that. The day we stop learning, is the day we stop growing. I do have flight of ideas, but I will love to narrow down myself over time.
