Words...

can give shape to your imagination..

I have always loved to write. The best feel good factor for me would be, sitting by the window, when its raining. Feeling and writing. And of course, reading books as well. My favourite author is J R R Tolkien. I just cant imagine, what a world he must have stayed in. In his mind atleast. The level of imagination, the characters, the places, everything, that he wrote, is just mind boggling.
Though I love to write in different genres, my favorite is to write for children. it allows me to create small, cute and lovable characters, with some good moral and happy endings. I also like descriptive writing, especially in fiction, like the story of Clockmaker below.

My Literary Works

The following are only a few of the stories that I have written.

The fox is a carnivore and is usually shown in a dark light in most stories. Once I was seeing a documentary on foxes and was so amazed, they are intelligent and caring creatures. I felt like writing sometihng positive about them. I kept on thinking and the gist of this story struck me and I wrote 'The Plum Tree and The Fox'.

I had been to a place called Binsar (It's a hill station in the middle of a sancutary) in the Himalayas, and was sitting a little after the sunset, just looking at the orange coloured tips of the snow mountains. Twilight set in. Later, in the night, the sky was littered with millions of stars, all seen so beautifully, twinkling, crisp and clear. It just felt surreal and I had the urge to write something on the stars. And I wrote on the Baby Star.
